Hawes

Spent a lovely afternoon out on the bike with Mr A. Our last long ride out took us through the village of Hawes and we said we would go back at some point as it seemed to be a haven for bikers.
We did really well with the weather, only one major downpour which was while we were dining in the cafe (on the right of the photo).
Hawes itself was ok. They obviously do a roaring trade from bikers; there was an abundance of places to eat (not much else actually!). Wensleydale cheese is made in Hawes but the Creamery didn't get a particularly good review on trip advisor so we gave that a miss.
The helmets have been declared fantastic, it's so good to be able to natter away but maybe not so good that I have to listen to him singing and he can hear all my little squeals when we go over bumps in the road!! :-0
