Off with their heads
Today has been hard work. I appear to be conversing in a language other than queens accy English.
DQ ' nothing to eat or drink for an hour'
PT 'so when can I eat?'
DQ 'see the girls at reception and they'll book you back for 3 months time'
PT 'so do I need another appointment? Will they send it me in the post'
On top of this were the know alls.
PT 'why is my tongue furry?'
DQ 'it's an accumulation of plaque, exacerbated by factors such as smoking, alcohol and dairy products'
PT 'Yeah, it'll be my cups of tea'
I followed this car home and imagined a few people whose heads I wished it was. The word for today is aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!
In other news; it's my Dads birthday today. The Spock ears were ungratefully received. He's had the all clear from the hospital too following his 'van Gogh ectomy', the lump wasn't cancerous but something called actinic cheilitis, which is caused by over exposure to sunlight. That must be where my dodgy skin comes from!
