The Town Cryer

Another visit to my favourite market town called Cowbridge. We parked the car and just around the corner we spied this town cryer. I asked if i could take his photo and he said yes, certainly. ( what a difference a day makes ) He was promoting an event called, Cowbridge on the Run. The event is taking place on 1st of September . It's a 5K or 10K run . All proceeds go to Cancer Research. I did have my photo taken with him and he let me ring his bell, ( yes really ) but i was having a bad hair day so it's not for public viewing. What a nice guy. My faith in human nature has now been restored.
