'Tremendous' Tuesday

The sun shone, 26* recorded in Falmouth, Clare was up early for her course, forty-eight hours early in fact!!

Following breakfast Joshua and I set off for Grizzly Towers to retrieve the junior set of golf clubs from the garage. On to Killiow Golf Club where we had 75 balls each on the driving range followed by 45 minutes on the chipping & putting green. Although the junior clubs proved to be too small Joshua had a good time, so much so that he has commandeered my spare set of clubs. After dropping him at his friend Bella's house it was home to collect Clare and Samantha for a gentle stroll down town.
Habaneros burritos with a pint for a late lunch preceded a visit to our favourite shop, Falmouth Booksellers' where Samantha surprised me by asking for Homers Odyssey, I have my own dog eared, well read copy but Sam now has her own.
Home for a BBQ, the kebabs having been marinating all day were really nice.
