Scenes of Autumn

Most of our Sundays are the same. Church, lunch at a local supermarket, and a Sunday afternoon nap. Ahhhhhh.

But, today we mixed it up just a bit. No nap. Instead...a drive in the country...looking for colors, and perhaps an apple orchard.

Colors are hard to find. Patches here and there...trees getting ugly and bare. But, we did find a black squirrel, and a pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are a little pricey at this place. 39 cents a pound. That's top dollar in these here parts. I did buy 2 gourds...one dry...one wet.

We never did make it to the orchard. We had a Frosty from Wendys, and came home. Plus...no nap. We both worked out in the yard.
