Down by Mallards Lake

Went to see Bob to order next year's seeds as he'd forgotten to check if we wanted our discounted seeds this year. He lives down near Mallards Lake and as it was a superb morning I thought there might be some good shots down by the lake with autumn colours and so on.

Not to be really, this was the best compostions I could see and I was playing around with HDR3 on the iPhone to see what difference it made to the overall shot. Pretty pleased with this as most parts seem well exposed and the colour good and the perspective leads off to somewhere mysterious. Well, that's what I think.

Susan working today so I was a free agent as it were. Spent some more time in the gym and the afternoon learning how to do HTML for an email newsletter for our business.

Swan update - Mallards Lake is where we've observed a family of swans over the last couple of years. Pleased to report that the 3 cygnets who were left from the original familiy of 7 are now fully grown. Here they are on 2nd July 2013
