Breezy

Well we survived the breeze last night.........

Adam is in Westminster working for our MP for 4 days.
So Mrs. P and I have the opportunity to look around the world's greatest city.

We have been to Camden today.

We'd both heard of it and how vibrant it is, but we had never been.

Well now we have, and we can highly recommend it for its colour, variety and audacity!

Not content with a sign above the door, many of the shops had sculptures on the wall above that depicted the products on sale.

We were particularly taken by the Horse Tunnels

In Victorian times it was a huge horse hospital that cared for horses injured while pulling barges on the canals. There were stables for over 500 horses at its peak.

This also caught our eye. We came to the conclusion they had actually been thrown up there. We don't think they blew out of people's homes in last night's wind and landed there! The Camden Journal has a theory as to why they are there.
