Taking it all in

We have been joined by Dad today.

After collecting him from the train we made our way to Worcester College to see Adam.

He was on his way to a tutorial so we only had time for a cup of tea in his room before he had to go.

Dad was chuffed to bits to see his oldest grandchild, and particularly with how comfortable Adam is in his surroundings.

We have taken Dad round the whole of the College and its magnificent 26 acre grounds.

It's been wonderful to see Dad taking it all in. It's one thing seeing photographs but today he got the opportunity to see the place close up.

It doesn't disappoint on any level, and unlike many other Oxford Colleges, Worcester doesn't charge for visitors to look around.

We all love this view across the Quad: I don't think we will ever tire of seeing it.
