Back to Branston Water Park for a lovely walk with my brother. The heron was still around, as were Great Crested Grebes, Cormorants, loadsa coots and lots more. Beautiful sunshine - as different again from yesterday.

Not far from the Water Park, along the canal, there is an amazing pub, The Bridge. It's owned and run by a charming guy from Sicily, and serves the best Italian food you'll find away from the Med. And no fish and chips or pub pies in sight.

And espresso - real espresso. I resisted the home made tiramisu.....

You can reach the pub directly, turning off the A38 at the Burton turn and heading for Tatenhill. Turn left almost immediately and you're there....
