Dancing The Night Away

We took our visitors to see the downtown excitement this evening. We arrived at the basketball court (la cancha) just as they were awarding prizes for some kind of Zumba-thon (at least according to the banner). Lots of numbers, lots of clapping, but we really had little idea what was going on having not seen any of the competition. After everyone cleared out, the evening's entertainment began with a kid's ballet followed by these, more modern dancers. I think the little girl in the center must have had a parent on my side of the audience, because in every shot she is looking directly at the camera (as she is here). Had she paid a bit more attention to the dance she may have been a bit more in sync with the others, but hopefully her parents got some good photos of her on stage.
