Sunset Shapes

The sunset this evening was something to behold. Streaks of orange, yellow and red were punctuated by some amazing cloud shapes on the horizon. It was if Mexico was putting on a show for our former exchange student from Australia who arrived today for a five day stay. We were walking down the beach for drinks and dinner, when the sun disappeared behind the upper layer of clouds which lit up the edges of lower clouds. Seconds later the sun returned through the gap in the cloud banks and the effect was lost.
