A Change in the Weather

It was back to Westport Beach this afternoon to catch the last of the sun.

The weather today was in total contrast to last Sunday when there were white puffy clouds against a bright blue sky. Today, after being bright and mostly dry, some heavy clouds developed mid afternoon delivering a couple of beefy showers. I had hoped they would have cleared by the time we got to Westport but they lingered over the Mull and were still dropping their rain on the horizon towards Northern Ireland.

As we approached the beach some brilliant shafts of golden sun broke through the clouds in the distance. With a cold north westerly wind and waves crashing on the shore it wasn't really weather for hanging around taking blips. More a case of a brisk walk keeping an eye out for the next shower coming in our direction. When I did blip, the camera was out quickly from under my waterproof jacket and a few rattled off . This was the first shot and certainly the most colourful of today's blips!
