All Calm In The Basin.
Well it was a much shorter shift today with not much to report in my trip to Newcastle and back apart from the fact I ate a pepperoni pizza in my two hours there one of the Newcastle crew said that was a Large one (Pizza) that is lol, and I replied that the guy in the shop only had twelve inch ones left to which they said he always does that so he gets more cash out of people well I will remember that in future as I'm on the same job again tomorrow but it was a nice pizza all the same anyway I think it will be Lentil soup and crusty bread for Newcastle tomorrow as I have had my one bad meal for the week, so my blip for today is of Lochrin Basin here at the Union Canals finishing point as it was reconnected to the Forth And Clyde Canal back in 2000. Here in Fountainbridge with all the new developmet around it makes for a very nice place to visit and stay with places like Cargo there and another couple of places for a drink and some food along with those nice apartments with such a lovely view especially when the sun shines making the area thrive as it can be bustling on a nice day, nothing else to report apart from the fact I gave this a 30 second exposure to get the water to look like glass rather than the ripples that were showing due to the chill wind blowing so now then movie for the day is "Dead Calm 1989" See Ya.
