Brilliant Afternoon

Mid-afternoon I took the three pups for a "walk" in the backyard so they could empty their tanks. The clouds were glowing and the sunlight behind them was blinding. I clicked a quick picture figuring that I'd get something better later at sundown, but I didn't.

I've spent this entire day grading essays, and even though I am not yet done, I am seeing the "Finish Line" off in the distance. Next week at this time, my semester will be completed. I don't like to wish time away, so I'm going to enjoy this next week like a kid who is made to sit at the table until all her veggies are eaten. Sheeeeeesh!

I'm so tired.
