Tuesday: Zlatko and Tomislav

Most of the day (correction: all of the day) was spent preparing for our New Year's Eve Party.  It continued to grow exponentially with various people asking if they could bring someone.  We ended up being about 28 - of which we had probably invited about 15!  But everyone was very nice, we met some great new people and a really good time was had.

We did have a meat crisis at one point.  Darko and Danko were supposed to be bringing the meat for the barbecue and rang at 9pm to say they had been trying to get a taxi for ages so one of the party was despatched to go and get them.  It did mean that the meat didn't appear until about 2200 by which point most people were past caring.

Meet Zlatko and Tomislav - Tomislav is a writer.  They are both extremely nice chaps and, in true Zagreb village style, it turns out that I know Tomislav's best friend quite well.
