Little luxuries

This drew my attention this morning, as I went for a walk. Looks like the inhabitants of this building can't afford to get the broken glass fixed, however they can't go without a TV satellite dish! It's all a question of priorities, I suppose.. :)

I'm having a very lazy Sunday. I woke up late and had a lovely breakfast of hot chocolate and "ensaimada", a typical Catalan pastry that looks like the shell of a snail. Then, I went outide for a walk and a bit of fresh air. It was rather windy today, but the sun was shining with cloudy intervals.

My mum prepared a lovely lunch with my favourite dish, "canelons", pasta tubes with a meat paste inside covered in bechamel, and we had some lovely cakes that my mum bought freshly baked from the bakery this morning for dessert. All very yummy!

Not planning to do much for the rest of the day, after all, I'm on holiday!

This evening there will be parades all over the city with the Three Wise Men, who will bring toys to all kids who have behaved well this year. Those who haven't behaved will receive charcoal! To be honest, I can't be bothered facing the crowds and screaming children, so I don't think I will go...
