A productive day

Firstly, does anyone know what is happening with the BLIPSTER AP? Or is it just us??? It keeps saying, ‘Error getting content. This version of the API is now disabled. Tap here to retry.’ And we don’t like to appear thick, but what does API stand for????

Anyway, as those of you who read our Blip yesterday will know; we are in Edinburgh so that Ann can do some redecorating etc in the flat that she owns here.

This is a BLIP of me on Ann’s bed. I’m not really allowed here but Ann was busy cleaning mildew off walls. Honestly why do tenants not keep the flat well ventilated?? The whole place looks like it has rising damp which would be a bit impossible in a 4th floor flat. Grrrrrrrrrr............... Because I wasn’t getting any attention I decided to jump on the bed for a comfy snooze. Amazingly, Ann let me stay here because she said I was being quiet and was out of the way. I’m going to see if I get away with it again tomorrow.

Ann loves the fact that she can drive a few miles and find all the shops she needs. This morning she went to Straiton (which is only about 4 miles away) where she shopped in Homebase, Pets at Home I needed more dog food and Asda. She wanted to go mooching around TK Max, Next, Dunelm Mill, Ikea, etc but had a lot of jobs to do so didn’t. Cornwall is very beautiful and we love it, but life is so much easier when everything is nearby.

Every time we come to Edinburgh, Ann says that we are going to move back up here. Well, I’ve never lived here but there seems to be some pretty good walking places so I’d be happy. She makes plans in her mind, has our whole new life mapped out............................. And then as soon as we arrive back in St Ives & see the fabulous views she remembers why she loves living in Cornwall so much.

It would be fantastic if she could keep this flat just for us, and not rent it out to idiots who don’t care about it............................. but the only way she could do that, is if she worked full time. And then, who would look after me????? She says our quality of life would be compromised!!!!

Anyway enough wittering for one night..........................

......................But if anyone can solve our immediate problem – which is; why can’t we access the BLIPSTER AP – all solutions will be gratefully received. xx
