Things flying in the sky

We went down to Tahunanui Beach this afternoon, and was delighted to see these big kites flying high in the sky. I even captured a seagull competing with the kites.

It was nice to see crowds on the beach enjoying the wonderful weather. Hopefully the holiday makers are enjoying Nelson as it is known by - the sunshine centre of New Zealand.
