Doha Days
A Friday that feels like a very quiet Highland Sabbath that I remember from childhood holidays. No 0500 alarm today but I was still woken by the first call to prayer of the day obviating the need for an alarm! I did go back to sleep and woke again to cloudy sunshine and unfamiliar birdsong at 0800. Today was the first full day I had had to see my house in the daylight. I was also able to sort out house things in the morning. Things livened up after lunch as the prayers ended and everyone began to rev up their 4X4s and head to the mall or whereever? Later I went to the spa across the road and bubbled the afternoon away in the jaccuzi! My blip shows Kabi from Nepal. He is one of the compund guards. He has worked here for seven years. I liked his hat : It still winter here, sir! 19 degrees? Winter?!
