A day, just another day....
It's half term week in England this week and working from home in Ayr was even more peaceful than usual. I reckon half of Solihull Council were off. Don't get me wrong, I had plenty to do but I was able to get on with things without help desk calls and requests coming through.
After yesterday's beautiful weather, today was a dreich day. I plodded on through the dreary day and sadly didn't even go out after work. Mom went out in the morning and came back with a bag of jelly babies and a Mars bar for me. I have no idea why but I'm ashamed to say I ate the lot and spent most of the afternoon feeling like hurling up! Serves me right really.
What didn't help was that I had a weird pain in my chest for much of the day. A bit alarming I must say! I often tell people 'Oh I might get run over by a bus....' etc and everyone refers to it as one of what they call my Rozisms. Now I was having visions of death by jelly babies. Just when I was getting to the stage of ringing an ambulance, I remembered mom telling me how she went to the doctors years ago with chest pains but the doctor sent her away with a laugh telling her that her bra was too tight.
Anyway, I went to the bathroom and removed the item and voila! I was miraculously cured! So, now you know! If you think you are having a heart attack, before ringing for an ambulance, undo your bra! If you aren't wearing one, it's probably a good idea to ring for help.
Ummmm...late edit. I bravely went to the West Kirk in the interests of Blip as I knew you'd love to see the outside of it. Did I go in? Only a few know the truth...,.
That's it. Sorry. I promise to make more of an effort with Tuesday's picture.
Track? I fancy a bit of classic Thin Lizzy today - Don't Believe A Word...
