The best laid plans of mice and Roz...
Oh well! It was wild and windy here in Ayr last night but I bravely fought my way down the road to the West Kirk. It was quite crowded in there so I ended up sitting right underneath this which was a bit worrying. I kept looking it up at it thinking I'd have a dreadful headache if that fell down on me. Anyway I got over that and had a pint of Bishop's Finger and four pints of Abbot. So it was quite a religious evening in the old church when you think about it.
On the way back, there was a great big Scottish moon on show so I thought I'd get today's Blipfoto done early as it was well after midnight. Using a big zoom after five pints isn't the easiest thing in the world I must admit! Here is my attempt. Not the whole of the moon - I will avoid the obvious track link - but 98% isn't bad!
I'd have gone with it if today hadn't been such a beautiful day. I met mom after mass and I persuaded her to go and feed the seagulls. They were having a little chat.
Jack: Jeezo Victor! No expense spared today!
Victor: You are right Jack! I saw these two auld biddies coming out of Marks and Spencers!
Jack: I'm going to tell these other flappers that it's Poundland again to get rid of them.
Victor: Good idea Jack. Don't tell Isa though! She'll blab to the others and we'll be lucky to get a crumb.
Jack: Aye right you are, Victor!
Looks good large!
