"A Very Precious Day"...

...Yes, (definitely viewed on LARGE) another lovely day and a very Precious day as well..for this lovely Bride walking toward her new Husband..down at Lock 11 today, not far away..

...With Dad dressed very traditionally in shorts, shirt and thongs, and Mum so pretty too both walking with their girl..

... I can't show you here but to the left of this - the Groom, with 3 groomsmen are waiting, all dressed the same in nice long sleeved shirts, shorts and thongs..one has to be comfortable these days - none of this trying to squeeze into shiny black shoes any more, and trying at the last moment to get the tie just right, Comfort is important these days isn't it..well, it is here anyway, we're in the country you know..

...The Bridesmaids looked so pretty as well - in their pretty dresses with apricot tonings and so many guests were waiting for the Bride and Company and upon the lawns there, under a huge gum tree, many white plastic seats had all been lined up together with the photographers and audio, etc..

...It really was a delight to see - and heck, why not wear shorts and shirts and thongs in weather like this..no Pomp and Glory here today - shattered a little that was - but a good time was already being had by the sound of the wedding guests, so happy with little ones moving around, all behaving nicely in their pretty clothes and curls..

...And not only were the Wedding Guests waiting right there today at this moment as the Bride and her Mum and Dad walked past - if you look carefully - you will see the old P.S.MELBOURNE - sitting down in the Lock there, yes, she really is - you can see her Funnel sitting there, way down she goes and with a bit of smoke coming forth..and in no time - she was off and away with her own guests aboard..the passengers and..

...I wonder if they knew that ... 'On This Day' ... they would be very up close and personal to a good old Aussie Wedding...
