Spring Still Life

Moved my workspace further up the kitchen today in search of spring sunbeams, which were in plentiful supply.
The slightly drooping flowers are a hangover from my birthday last weekend and the as yet unframed painting was a present from my talented sister-in-law.
The book, The Art of June Carey, in the bottom of the picture, arrived in the post the other day.
The Yellow Burd is pure Wyllie... wearing a jaunty wee bow-tie which makes me smile every time I look at him.
