(Not so) Good Friday

Of course now we finally have a day together as a family we have all fallen ill (and are completely shattered!)

Horrible night's sleep, PMT, an argument with Angus and a bad start to the day. My Mum finally pulled me out of it when I phoned her for a moan. It went along the lines of, "Have you finished yet?" and "Oh for God's sake, bury me now" and "It's just a bad day, snap out of it" etc. Bless her! Worked though. Stopped my snivelling and started laughing at myself instead. I do love my Ma.

Had a lovely morning with the Chorlton gang down at Spinngfields for the Duck Race (which we didn't end up seeing but it didn't matter!) followed by brunch at Carluccio's. Took this pic of Audrey tucking into her ice cream.

Spent the afternoon in the sunshine in the garden which is now Audrey's favourite place (she calls it "Agga"). Such a happy wee thing, she was, running around and climbing on and off her slide - which has pretty much already paid for itself already!
