Loaded up the car with the mower and every tool imaginable to tackle R & N's garden on the hottest day of the year !

Yes its a before & after shot.

The "before" shot looks greener but that is because the grass was almost a foot tall in places before we arrived to tackle it.

We dug up stingers sow thistles & stones & cut back the conifer hedge at the bottom. On a return visit the borders need to be forked over & the Silver Birch needs a lop.

After going to Budgen's to get some Jersey Royals for tea we are now home sipping some of the amber nectar.

Very hot day with hardly a cloud in the sky.
