She's figured out that the watering cans are filled with fresh water a lot at the moment and she loves drinking fresh water. However, she can't get her head into the thing to get at the water. So this is her latest trick. She scoops out a cupped paw full of water and drinks it from her paw. She does this over and over.

Funny thing is, if she's standing in the basin waiting for you to turn the tap on, she hates getting her paws wet.

It's just as well the cats are that cute. After a hour of Katzenterror this morning - starting at 3:20 - we were not terribly well disposed towards them. It's a Feiertag and I really wanted a lie in. Too bad.

Still a day off is a day off and was much enjoyed. Including the 2 and half hour German lesson where much progress was made with a short story. Incredibly complicated German - Heinrich Steinfest is the author if you're interested - but a neat little story (Bambi lebt hier nicht mehr - Bambi doesn't live here any more).
