Life through the lens...

Mini Blip meet in Provence.

Well to be correct it was in the Drome Provencal.

It is so nice to meet a blip friend for the first time, especially as you have driven about 760 miles, plus a boat crossing!

I think we both felt that we had known each other for ages!
How kind it was for Jukeys, or Judith, to welcome both MrC and myself into her home. you can see Jukeys pictures here
As we had had a storm during the early hours of this morning, we sat inside for coffee and delicious home made cake ( with cream!)
(I know by her blips that Judith loves cooking and baking.)
What a lovely house they have.
She very kindly showed us round, along with Coquine the dog, and the cat.
Very typically French. With wonderful old beams, and thick stones walls.
The sort of place you dream about when back in England!
Cosy sitting room with French windows opening onto a balcony over looking the river.
A big fireplace in the dining kitchen, for colder evenings. ( and J said it does get cold in winter!)
Wonderful views also from the bedrooms.
A cellar ( or cave. Just right for wine)
A lovely garden which goes down to the river.
A beautiful spot!

Thank you Judith for a very memorable morning. A highlight of our holiday.
We both enjoyed it very much.
( also thank you for the bottle of wine, which we will open on a sunny day back home, and think of you, sat on the terrace!)

Collage shows Judith and I, Coquine, A view from the terrace, and a view of the house and garden. Also a rose bush in the garden, and a rare photo of MrC and my self. .......not necessarily in that order!
