South Coast Scribblings

So many flowers!

The hydrangeas are outdoing themselves this year - I just had to include one photo of them! I took this in the village after I went down to the local shop to buy a few extra things - including tinned tomatoes and minced beef for our lunch today. The bus shelter that was destroyed by a car crash has had all the debris removed during the week we were away - only the concrete base remains. Whether they will rebuild it or not I haven't found out yet...

A new fridge freezer is ordered from a very helpful firm in Worthing and it will be delivered on Thursday afternoon. They do charge a small fee to take the other one away - which is fair enough as they have to take it up to London! There are only three centres in the whole country that dispose of old ones now apparently - no wonder fly tipping happens :-(

Have done some more of my tapestry today - the mountain and part of the sky are now done. I'm still surprised by how much I enjoy it!
