From the Waters Edge........

We ventured over to Ambleside on Windermere to have a look around a very large a comprehensive garden centre which sells everything one could think of, from aquariums to plants, books, kitchen equipment and the list goes on.

On walking into the entrance, I'll give you a guess as to what they were arranging, yes
Christmas decorations. To early for my liking, in fact 'they' (whoever 'they' are) should limit Christmas to December only everywhere. Christmas has lost its true meaning these days!! Sorry, rant over!!

After going around the garden centre we went for lunch ( which was nice) at The Waters Edge pub and this is where I took this shot.
At the pier the Lakeland Pleasure cruiser was just docking to off load its passenger and 'refill' with some more.
This is a view looking down Windermere.
Ambleside is about half way up the Lake.

It was very overcast and not as bright as I would have liked, but this is the best one out of the shots I took.
