Day 2: Reykjavik

Felt refreshed and raring to go after a decent sleep! We walked up to Perlan for great views over the city, returning via Noodle Station and ate our lunch on a bench down by the Sun Voyager. We spent ages walking round the old harbour, and saw a really interesting exhibition by an Icelandic photographer on various fading northern communities. A quick cup of tea warmed us up, and after some sensible packing before we hit the road in the morning, we went out for a 'couple of drinks'. Two turned in to several, and a bit of a 'happy hour' downtown bar crawl, bumping in to two Canadians who were great drinking companions. We forgot to have dinner, and everything was shut by the time we remembered, so embarrassingly, we ended up in Subway. Gah!
