A nice cup of tea

At this time of year the post seems to bring a selection of cruise adverts, pleas from charities to help at Christmas time and endless Christmas catalogues. When I have visitors and other things on my mind, all these end up in a pile on the corner of the kitchen dresser. So as today is a lull between two lots of visitors, I decided to tackle the heap. I knew most would go in the bin, but I never quite have the courage to put them in the bin straight away.
With the pile sorted and several other paperwork jobs tackled, I slumped into my chair ready to watch "Pointless". The steaming mug of tea looked very appetising.
We bought the mug at the lovely Traquair House near Peebles when we were on holiday there last year. Friedaquilter will know it, I'm sure!
