Saved by a blipper!

First day of Haltwhistle Autumn Walking Festival 2014.

Alarm failed to go off.

Slept in -- arghh!

Rushed to get ready and out of the house and drive to Haltwhistle in time for the bus at the start of the walk.

Forgot camera CF card. No one else uses them, BUT hazelh came to my rescue. She loaned me her camera and she used her little point and shoot. What a star. Here she is with Tim who is taking the selfie.

We walked 12 miles from Linstock to Banks. It was sunny most of the day with a couple of very sharp showers. A good start to the festival.
