Silver Dust

I had the most incredible walk over on the heath this morning. The sun was shining brightly and after all the rain we had yesterday, the droplets of water captured on the vegetation hung like diamonds. Here you can see how the warmth of the sun was making this tree trunk steam and how the sun was reflecting off the little midges flying in the air, was making them looks like silver dust. I was out for a couple of hours and had such fun taking photos and walking - the first time I have had an opportunity to do anything like this for several weeks now. This afternoon I made a tealoaf and spend the afternoon in the garden tidying up. A beef stew is now cooking for dinner - I am looking forward to it - and putting my feet up!
