Boat Trip

My week photographing South of the Border Volleyball Vacations has official begun. Lots of running up and down the hot sands of Puerto Vallarta capturing images of volleyball players before, during, and after they play their matches. This afternoon I got a break from group shots on the beach and had the chance to take a group shot on the boat we took to go snorkeling and watch the sunset (which I also got to shoot). This shows most of our group, there are 90 vacationing players, 6 professional players, 4 staff members, and a number of spouses/significant others. It makes quite a crowd at the hotel and even though not everyone is on this trip, significantly affects the trim of this boat. The captain made everyone disperse after I took this shot before he would leave the dock as he was afraid the boat would be less than seaworthy with everyone at the front.
