Spanish drive

Hit the M25 at bleary o'clock this morning to drive Farnborough and catch a flight to Spain for another car launch. We landed at Malaga where colourful rows of the new Hyundai i20 awaited us. The test route took us inland to a late lunch venue at La Bobadilla in the Andalusian countryside. This beautiful row of vividly autumnal trees was on the hotel approach road.

Then we drove in a different version of the i20 back down to Malaga for our overnight stay. Our hosts organised a press conference and dinner in a restaurant by the harbour. It was notable for the living wall of plants along one side of the dining room, which was densely packed from floor to ceiling with the vibrant green of a profusion of lush foliage.

Another long day, and another early start tomorrow. But first, driving impressions to write before bed ...
