Let it snow

Was nt sure if I would be able to get to the Puffin Pool this morning as the forecast gave a warning for ice and snow especially in Dingwall but it was fine. What ice there had been had gone by 7.30am or melted by the gritter.
The pool was very warm today and I was surprised to see my friend Jackie. She has been waiting for a life saving op since September and still has nt heard when she will be going in. She's an amazing lady with a great sense of humour which I think keeps her going. I really hope she hears soon as every letter that lands on the mat she wonders if it will give her the date of the op. Very stressful for her !

After breakfast and shopping in Tesco, with thermals and a warm hat purchased for Iceland or before if needed , we drove home and stopped a few times to get some photos of the snow covered mountains.
On to Jemimaville to wash the car, quick take away cuppa in Cromarty and then home to warm up.

The moon looked amazing again and Richard wanted to try out his new camera with some night shots so we went down to the Point. We were the only ones there, maybe because it was freezing but the moon was nicely reflected in the Firth and he got a few shots.

The decking looks like a skating rink so the birds will have to go hungry if they eat all the food. The pine marten has just been and eaten all the peanuts.

In the photo you can see Macdonalds Monument which stands above Dingwall.
