Easter Egg Hunt

Our church had our annual Easter Egg Hunt on the field of a local Middle School for folks in the community. There were about 800 people, adults and little ones that came out to participate. The most impressive thing was the 12,000+ eggs filled with candy. There were 2 bounce houses and a bounce slide, face painting, balloon animal makers and two roaming Easter bunnies...one of which was our own LOCOMOCO/Thru my I. :]

It was a great morning. It took far longer to set out all the eggs on the field, then it did to collect them. The kids were running and squealing as they raced by me. There was a preschool area roped off for the 4 and under crowd. The were so cute, they would pick one up and open it. The big kids just scooped them up into baskets and plastic bags for review later.

Some of the eggs had prize tickets in them. There were bikes, ipod shuffles, Slip n' Slides, Bubble Machines and an assortment of other fun stuff.

I snapped off many fun and colorful shots of the day...it was hard to decide.

Thanks for stopping by....Happy Easter to YOU!!!
