It's SUMMER!!

Oh my gosh, I thought I was back in Australia. It was definitely a sunglasses, strappy summer top and sandals day!

After a very busy and different couple of weeks for me and a bunch of friends, we decided it was time for a bubbly brunch to catch up and enjoy some good food and erm, bubbles! Most of them were heavily involved with the Presidential funeral in that they had to organise the logistics and arrangements for their respective delegations coming in - not knowing until the very last minute that they in fact wouldn't be coming. A couple of us provided a safe haven to some weary ash-stranded travellers, so we all felt eligible for the splash-out lunch. Lovely it all was too.

Sundowners then, on a top-floor balcony, in the blazing sun-shine. How Sunday afternoons should be spent. Hope it's like this for next week's long weekend. Rebecca was a darling all day but was certainly ready for her bed this evening - she was on the go all day.
