Cedar Bark

I went for another hike in the forest and, as usual, took an abundance of photos. I chose this one to blip. I love huge cedar trees and their massive trunks. When I stand beside one and lay my hands on the bark, I feel very grounded and peaceful. They ground me in the earth, nature, and in my own being.

This blip is a closer inspection of the bark. It's natural flakiness is quite lovely. You can see the lichens and moss are starting to grow in some areas.
