Mock Monet

We have had such a rainy day today. It was kind of depressing, and it seems like everyone was a little off today. I know I was. I just couldn't quite get things to work the way they should.

I strolled around the campus a little today and took a few shots, but the rain made it difficult. Later, the sun came out a little, but it was really late in the day and I didn't have any time this evening to go search out my "great" capture. Makes it sound like a hunting trip, doesn't it.

Anyway, I decided to use this shot that I was able to find. It reminds me somewhat of a impressionist painting -- at least I would like to think so. That's why I called it "Mock Monet".
I just wish the little twig in the center wasn't there. If I only had Photoshop, I could probably take care of that.
