quiet reflections

Today her dad went back to work. It was a busy day for us! The health visitor came to see us for the last time before we were let loose on our own! She's doing really well and is now 7lb 14 oz!! That's nearly a full pound in three weeks!

After Marion had been, I took Katie out to meet my friend Kelly. The photo was taken as I was stood outside waiting for her. We went to our favourite coffee shop, the best in Scarborough - Roasters - and the staff were all really excited to see her for the first time. Katie had more presents from Kelly!

After we'd seen Kelly, we met Uncle Simon. We went to a fish and chip shop and caused chaos. They weren't really equipped for a pram, so they had to pull tables and chairs out the way, unlock different doors, to let us in and out. All of that and Katie didn't want to stay for long, she wanted to feed!

We met another friend of mine after that, by chance, and she took us for hot chocolate, at the other Roasters in Scarborough, where again the staff all doted on her!

Today Katie stayed awake for her longest time so far, 3 1/2 hours!! We had a lovely time listening to her baby mozart cds, cuddling and a bit of time with the baby gym.
