These cuff links tell .............a......story!

I was going to call this "Pearl's a singer" but that would have been too obvious for any one who hasn't spotted my theme yet.

Today's the day! It's our Pearl(30th) wedding anniversary!

These cuff links are my gift from the Boss.

Onyx and Mother of Pearl, no less!

I think they're lovely and obviously appropriate to the occasion, but here's the thing, and I know the Boss won't mind me saying this, because she said it to me.

When will I wear them?

In the 33 years we've been together I think I've worn cuff links about 6 times.

1 The day we got married
2 The Son and Heir's christening
3 The Daughter's christening
4 The Boss's Mum's funeral
5 My Mum's funeral
6 Hebs wedding

You see a pattern emerging?

I'm sure I will wear them, just better hope it's a wedding or a christening, although at our age the third option seems more likely.
