Kusadasi - Bird island

Kusadasi is best known as the port where the cruise ships dock to take passengers to Ephesus.

It is seriously touristy with signs of "genuine fake watches" and "browse without being pestered"(chance would be a fine thing!!!) but it also has a very rare beauty.

The name of the town is taken from "bird island", the charming little promontory at the opening to the harbour.
