Turning Pink

We learned while watching the Nightly News with Brian Williams that America's White House is illuminated with pink this evening, for one night, to acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

So our little suburban neighborhood put in an order for the clouds to turn pink over our street this evening. And guess what?!

From the East Coast to the West Coast America's displaying pink. My mom was a breast cancer victim. Unfortunately, she was not a survivor. I'm sure many people know someone with that story. I look forward to the day that Breast Cancer is not only decreased, but eliminated.

This evening, we're turning pink.
