Ice pebbles

We braved the trip out to Sainsbury's today. We had planned on getting a delivery in instead but with the snow on Monday, in the time it took me to make my list and forget to check out I'd lost my slot and the next available one was Saturday. It really confuses me the panic that happens when it snows. Once at the supermarket, they were nearly entirely sold out of bread.

On the way home we spotted these little ice pebbles forming, given enough time, maybe they would have formed stalagmites.
