.......I like curry..........

So does Dad,but he can't cook it. He has to survive on ready made or take away.
So for a treat tonight I cooked pilau rice, chicken Jalfrezi and naan bread.

His hand seems better today, the swelling has started to reduce and he hasn't needed many painkillers. He slept right through last night until 10 this morning.

He managed to dress himself and have a shave so it's probably safe for me to go home and leave him tomorrow as long as I make sure he's got plenty of things to eat that don't require much more than heating in the microwave. It won't hurt for a couple of days and he can take the dressing off on Tuesday.

We watched the football tonight, I've cooked, washed up and been and got him some beers so the rest of the evening should pass pleasantly.

I'll keep in touch obviously but hopefully his hand will keep on improving and when he has the other one done he should be back to normal...whatever that is!
