There are so many wonderful things about France, the art and archaeology, the vibrant cities and the tranquil rural areas, the food and wine, the mountains to the east and the Atlantic coast to the west.
But one of the best things is the variety of cheeses. It is said that if you eat a different cheese each day you will not have tasted them all after a year is up. Who said this, I do not know. I have decided, however, who said it is unimportant, I want to see if it is true or urban legend.
I am sure with a bit of patience and a good search engine I could work out in a matter of hours whether it is indeed true or not. But what would be the fun in that!
