Very remiss of me not to update this with the most important addition to the family. Formally known as "Carl's best idea" and generally answers to the name of Albi. Unless you have food in which case no names required.

The people, the places, the backdrop of life remain much the same. And no worse for it.

Well over a thousand blips in and I should probably finally update my profile. I'll leave the original entry below as it seems the right thing to do, though not entirely sure why.

I still live in the same place with the same people and I am still equally enamoured with them all.

So no updating there. Is there any regarding my use of Blip? Probably not really, other than to note how much I relish this treasure chest of snapshots of my life. Which is my incentive to keep blipping even when the inspiration or time are lacking. I would love there to be no gaps but everything is flawed in some way.

The biggest update is probably regarding community which I couldn't have anticipated at the start of my Blip journey. Like many I go through phases of spending more or less time visiting and commenting on other journals. Regardless I love that they are all there to provide little insights into different corners of the world. To share humour and everydayness and, when it is needed, some of the best support on offer.

I seem to have slipped on the better photos front. Not least because so many of my pictures are from the iPhone. And I might try and do something about that. We shall see when I check in in 4 years time for my next update!

I live in Chiswick, West London, which is my favourite place I have lived and will no doubt feature in many of my blips.

I live with my husband Carl and two children, Jackson and Anna, who are my favourite people I have lived with and who will also no doubt be turning up here and there.

My good friend, SooB, introduced me to Blip and I have a feeling I will be thanking her for it (and probably buying her a drink too:-))

My intention is to keep a journal of my life and to take more photos. I'm also hoping to learn more about photography and who knows, perhaps even take some better pictures!

Oh, and meet some interesting folk :-)
