I have had an interest in photography since I was a teenager.  I bought my first camera at age 16. I am now in my seventies and have lost count of the number of cameras I have owned and indeed currently own.  That is a family joke! I joined the Marlborough Camera Club in 2005 just when members were making the switch from film based photography to digital format.  I love every aspect of photography and I am addicted to all the gadgetry involved. My first love in photography is capturing the landscape. Marlborough has wonderful clean clear light and I get a lot of pleasure photographing our beautiful scenery.  I am a member of the Photographic Society of New Zealand and am fortunate enough to have been awarded my Licentiate.  This mean I can put LPSNZ after my name which is an honour but I have realized that having that qualification has only emphasized to me just how much I don't know... I relish learning and endeavour to learn something new every day.
