....Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora!.............
I think Charlotte's been watching too much of the Rugby World Cup....this is her best haka face.
Picked up Dad and the Niece from the station this afternoon. The Niece has undergone a change, bright red hair, lots of eye make up....what it is to be 16 going on 30.
Charlotte and YH arrived about 3.00 and she was an instant hit. Having kept us all amused with her attempts at crawling and shouting at the TV she was taken for a walk by the Daughter and the Neice. They brought her back sound asleep! So...making sure she was well wrapped up......we left her out in the fresh air for a while.
When she woke we brought her in to be changed and fed....but she decided serious vomcanoes were a better option.....think she might have caught a tummy bug!
The S&H turned up after work.....and promptly announced he needed to change his brake pads.........so while the rest stayed inthe warm....he and I went outside in the gathering dark to do the job......by use of a portable spot light and a bit of team work we got them changed. We had dinner.......the famous mince and noodles recipe and a wicked chocolate and fudge cake with ice cream .....and then Charlie went off home.
Tomorrow I might take Dad to see the boys.....YH is bringing Charlie back in the afternoon....they and the Daughter and Niece are going into town to shop.....and possibly smoke a hubble-bubble at the Turkish cafe...and Dad and I....who knows?
The S&H will be back again for dinner.....chicken fajitas....and then Dad and the Niece are heading back home on Wednesday morning.
